We achieve this by educating our customers and raising awareness of proper tree care. Through modern tree care practices and conservation we mediate the needs of the customer, the trees and the environment the most mutually beneficial way possible.
Biography
Biography A native of Lakefield, Ontario, Matthew Logan has been in the Arboriculture industry for eight years. His love for the outdoors and nature drew him to this unique industry. While originally interested in Landscape Design and Horticulture, Matthew decided to specialize in Arboriculture and enrolled at Sir Sandford Fleming College. He graduated in 2003 with a certificate in Arboriculture. In subsequent years, Matthew has focused his interests on Arboriculture safety, education and a greater understanding of internal mechanics and proper practices. With a large support group of friends, family, and his fellow brothers and sisters in Arboriculture, Matthew feels very lucky to be able to pursue his goals and to offer his services and abilities to others. Matthew lives in the Lakefield area with his wife Tracy. Together they enjoy camping, canoeing, mountain biking and recreational tree climbing.
International Society of Aboriculture
The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is a worldwide organization dedicated to fostering a greater appreciation for trees and promoting research, technology, and the professional practice of Arboriculture. Matthew is a proud supporter of the ISA and is a member of the ISA, ISAO (Ontario Chapter). He is also an ISA Certified Arborist and ISA Certified Tree Worker. Matthew strongly believes that the ISA represents the professionalism and pursuit of excellence that Arborists should strive for.
